crappy grey cables are the best

totally. surprisingly enough, there was very little noise at all in this system. it was completely unstable, but there was no hum or extra unwanted noise. the CP3 mixers' output stages distorted nicely too. in my own studio i use a variety of wiring from "crappy grey cable" to belden rubber-jacket wire with switchcraft plugs. my Sprint/LG Touchpoint 1100 and 10 gig iPod are visible in the upper right corner of the shot.
